What do you study in art and design?
People often separate art (painting, sculpture, photography, performance) from design (fashion, architecture, furniture). In reality, the line between art and design is far less clear-cut.
The most common art degrees are the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and the Master of Fine Arts (MFA). Their subjects are broad, and graduates range from art theorists to ceramicists.

Fine Arts
Fine arts is traditionally defined as the production of beautiful objects, yet it is much harder to pin down than it seems. Degrees range from art theory to ceramics.
